A Very Fine Irish William IV Twin Door Cabinet of compact proportions. Circa 1840.
The rectangular top with decorative rope edge, above twin diamond pattern brass grill inset doors enclosing two adjustable shelves.The piece is raised on superby carved claw feet. The carved use of rope edge detailing is typical of furniture made in County Cork during this early period. Condition: Good firm condition with just a few old imperfections nice surface patination.
